Linear Actuator

First create a linearly actuated mechanism uisng the cylinder as in Advanced Mechanism Simulation. Then continue by opening the Linear Actuator Chart and following the animation below. Make sure that you first select the linear actuator symbol.

The linear actuator symbol is shown in the purple

As you can see there are limits to controlling the actuation such as knowing the real time interval of the motion and the speed constraints on it.
